I moved to Matzaccara in 2012, one of the first โcontinentalsโ to do so, bringing a fresh perspective to the area. The local community welcomed us warmly, and over the years weโve built a strong connection with Matzaccara and the whole Punta Trettu region.
From 2012 to 2020 I helped create and manage the Kite Village Sardinia website, a project I co-founded with friends and partners. Together with Pietro, Giacomo and the rest of the team, we contributed to making Punta Trettu known internationally. Today itโs considered one of the top spots in Sardinia for learning kitesurfing โ especially for beginners โ thanks to flat water, reliable wind and a mostly sandy, shallow lagoon.
In 2014 we launched Kite House Sardinia, a family-run accommodation between Punta Trettu and Porto Botte. We offer fully equipped apartments in a beautiful garden with a large pool, high-speed Wi-Fi and many services for an active holiday.
In 2020 we founded our own kitesurf club – Kite House Sardinia ASD. Here we offer kitesurf courses and coaching (also in small groups), equipment rental, downwind sessions and kite repairs. Our instructors are IKO-certified, highly experienced and great with both adults and children.
Beyond kitesurfing, we can help you enjoy the area with additional activities and services (SUP, surfing, boat trips, fitness, yoga, bike rental, massages, horse riding), plus transfers, car rental and local tips for beaches and restaurants.
Southwest Sardinia is famous for its many windy days โ and when the Mistral blows, you can expect great sessions, mild temperatures and wild, untouched landscapes. โ๏ธ๐๐ฌ
